If you are needing to produce some excellent females that are consistent for milk flow, udder quality and moderate size, then you need to use some genetics with Ellison in them. We have used Ellison on our heifers for a good Calving Ease sire, and have above breed average growth and show that by ranking in the top 45% of the breed for YW. His teat and udder EPDs rank in the top 1% all the while doing this with superb IMF and REA. The females out of Ellison have been some of the top selling cattle for our partner on Ellison, Double 7 Ranch in Ft. Cobb OK.
Use Ellison to sire great replacement females and sons that will sire the same.
